Job Description
LifeLink Medical Group is a private medical establishment, initially founded as Lifelink Medical Centre in 2008 with a goal of bringing superior but affordable medical services, closer to the people. Currently running a hospital in Namugongo, and an urban clinic in Ntinda. LifeLink offers both general and specialist health services in a sparkly, friendly and well-supervised environment.
Job Summary: LifeLink Medical Group has opened up opportunity for internship training for individuals who wish to gain practical experience and enhance their skills in; accounts, customer care, IT, front desk, human resources, internal audit and insurance billing
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Interaction Support
Assist in handling incoming customer calls, emails, and inquiries.
Provide information about products and services under supervision.
Help in resolving basic customer issues and escalating complex ones to senior staff.
Administrative Tasks
Perform data entry and update customer information in CRM systems.
Assist in managing customer records and documentation.
Help with filing and organizing customer care documents.
Issue Resolution
Support the team in resolving customer complaints and issues.
Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved satisfactorily.
Document customer interactions and resolutions accurately.
Customer Feedback Management
Assist in collecting and analyzing customer feedback.
Help in identifying common customer issues and suggesting improvements.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with other departments to understand customer needs and service processes.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Currently pursuing a degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or a related field.
Basic understanding of customer service principles and practices.
Skills and Competencies
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer skills.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Problem-Solving Skills: Basic ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Personal Attributes
Empathy and Patience: Ability to empathize with customers and handle stressful situations calmly.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and tasks.
Professionalism: Maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Experience
Previous experience in customer service or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
Voluntary or part-time work experience in any customer-facing role can be advantageous.
Availability
Willingness to commit to the internship duration, which can vary from a few months to a year.
Flexibility to work various shifts if required.
