About the Organization
Job Description
Rushere Cooperative Savings and Credit Society Limited, a registered SACCO in Rushere Town Council, operates in the districts of Kiruhura, Kazo, Kamwenge, Ibanda, Mbarara, Sembabule, Kyegegwa, and Lyantonde. We are expanding and looking to hire qualified personnel for the following positions:
Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Management:
Supervision: Overseeing daily operations and ensuring that the branch runs smoothly and efficiently.
Policy Implementation: Implementing and enforcing company policies, procedures, and standards at the branch level.
Resource Management: Allocating resources effectively to meet operational needs and objectives.
Team Leadership and Development:
Staff Management: Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating branch employees, including tellers, loan officers, and customer service representatives.
Performance Reviews: Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback and coaching to staff.
Team Building: Fostering a positive work environment and encouraging teamwork and collaboration among branch employees.
Customer Service:
Client Relations: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and managing complex service issues.
Service Standards: Implementing and maintaining high standards of customer service to enhance the customer experience.
Community Engagement: Building and maintaining relationships with local businesses and community organizations.
Sales and Marketing:
Sales Targets: Setting, monitoring, and achieving sales goals and targets for the branch.
Product Promotion: Promoting the bank's products and services to existing and potential customers.
Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to grow the branch's customer base and market share.
Financial Management:
Budgeting: Preparing and managing the branch’s budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial goals.
Reporting: Analyzing financial statements and reports to monitor the branch’s performance and profitability.
Cost Control: Implementing measures to control costs and improve financial performance.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting & Finance, or related field
Minimum age of 25 years
3 years of experience in a related field
Knowledge of lending procedures is an added advantage
