Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable

  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results

  • Analyze financial information and summarize the financial status

  • Manage Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable processes, including entering daily invoices/bills/journal entries, weekly check runs, and monthly accruals

  • Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.

Qualification, Experiences and Competencies

  • Financial Acumen: In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting.

  • Strategic Planning: Strong strategic planning skills to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.

  • Risk Management: Expertise in risk management, including identifying financial risks and developing mitigation strategies.

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

  • Communication Skills: Superior verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including board members, investors, and regulatory bodies.

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a finance team.

  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.

  • Capital Raising: Experience in capital raising, including working with investors, banks, and financial institutions.

International Experience

  • Global Perspective: Experience with international finance, including managing foreign exchange risk, international tax issues, and cross-border financial transactions.

  • Cultural Awareness: Ability to work effectively in a global environment and understand cultural differences in business practices.
