A unique opportunity to lead a start-up company in the wealth management sector in Africa.
About the company
• The company is a start-up company licensed by the Financial Services Commission for Wealth Management (WM).
• The company aims to provide high-quality and personalized services to high-net-worth individuals and families in the African continent.
• The company will be marketing its services as a custodian of client wealth but also as an advisor and to assist in the return of wealth if needed.
• The company has a small but dedicated team of professionals in wealth management, compliance, marketing and administration.
• The company leverages the latest technology and artificial intelligence to deliver innovative and efficient solutions to its clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The CEO will be responsible for the overall vision, strategy, growth, and performance of the company.

  • The CEO will lead the team, manage the operations, oversee the compliance, and develop the business relationships with existing and potential clients.

  • The CEO will report to the board of directors and will be accountable for the financial results and the reputation of the company.

  • The CEO will also earn equity in the company after two years of service.

Qualification, Experiences and Competencies

  • The ideal candidate will have a solid background and experience in the Wealth Management sector, preferably from private enterprise companies.

  • The candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, business development, client service, and operational excellence.

  • The candidate will have a strong knowledge and network in the African market and will be able to identify and seize opportunities in the region.

  • The candidate will be fluent in English as a first language and French as a second language.

  • The candidate will be willing to bring in clients as well.

  • The candidate will be tech savvy, results-oriented, and a hard worker.


About the compensation

  • A base salary with transport and housing allowances.

  • The CEO will also be entitled to a minimum of 5% of the bonus pool of 15% of the net profit after tax of the company.
