About the Organization
Little Muheji school is registered by the Ministry of Education and Sports and was founded in 2006 to provide nursery and primary education. The school is located along Busujju -Hoima Road, Nansana Town Council, Wakiso district, Uganda – East Africa, with the vision “A professionalized fully fledged childhood and vocational education center”.
The school is governed by a team of five (5) Board of Directors while the technical operations of the school are guided by a thirteen (13) member team of School Management Committee. The day to day operations of the school are run by a Headmistress, who heads a team of other workers.The school started its operations on 6th February 2006.
The School sits on a Nine- Acre piece of land with a football pitch and is housed in its permanent structures with sufficient land for expansion. In addition, the school is stocked with play equipments inclusive of; toys, games, merry go rounds, sea saws swings, bicycles to relax with after work. Wednesdays and Fridays are sports days and pupils dress in sportswear.
One of the school objectives is to Contribute to the nurturing of vulnerable children for the attainment of their full potential. Under this arrangement the school offers free nursery and primary education to orphans and vulnerable children who upon completion are linked to the vocational to undertake skill enhancement courses that enable them to come with up relevant skills to embark on the income generating activities by setting up their own work stations.
Job Description
To process claims expeditiously and professionally to meet customer’s expectations and the overall departmental objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Correspond with clients to acknowledge claim processing and update on progress regularly
Obtaining adequately documents & processing claims within standards of service.
Timely processing of claims as per the stipulated guidelines and procedures
Records, registers and posts new claims and processes them within the set standards to ensure quality customer service is given.
Set initial reserves for new claims and recommend reserve changes
Close files as payment/recoveries are made
Evaluate preliminary claim information and revert to broker or insured for more information where necessary to ensure that the correct information is documented for ease in processing the claim.
Cross checks claim details (claim form) and other claim documents with policy specimen copies to ensure accuracy.
Communicate to the customers through claim acknowledgement, update to intermediary/insured/claimant on claim status.
Liaise with underwriting department by notifying them on risk improvement issues noted as well as reviewing of policy wordings on areas that need change in the policies.
Assist in the determination of settlement amount and issue discharge vouchers for fully documented claims under instructions from claims manager/supervisor.
Track claims by regularly updating the claims register to determine progress of the claim.
Promptly attend to customers complaints and inquiries
