About the Organization
Job Description
Sales Agents are responsible for identifying sales opportunities, growing our customer base and driving insurance sales through networking, referrals, and marketing strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Client Acquisition and Management
Prospecting: Identify potential corporate clients through research, networking, and cold-calling.
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in client companies.
Client Meetings: Conduct meetings and presentations to pitch products or services.
Sales Strategy and Execution
Sales Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals.
Follow-Up: Follow up on leads and inquiries to move potential clients through the sales pipeline.
Market and Product Knowledge
Product Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of the products or services offered, including features, benefits, and competitive positioning.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Sales Reporting and Analysis
Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to share with management.
Analysis: Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Customer Support and After-Sales Service
Support: Provide ongoing support to clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
After-Sales Service: Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure proper implementation and to foster long-term relationships.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree: Typically required in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Prior experience in sales, especially B2B sales, is highly desirable. Experience in the specific industry of the employer can be an added advantage.
Skills
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey product benefits and negotiate with clients.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and sales data to inform strategy.
Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple clients and sales processes simultaneously.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
