Job Description

A Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote a company and its products or services. This role involves enhancing brand awareness, driving traffic to the company's website, and generating leads or sales.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to achieve business goals.

  • Identify target audiences and devise digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.


Campaign Management:

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, content marketing, and PPC advertising.

  • Manage online campaigns across various digital channels to ensure brand consistency.


Content Creation and Management:

  • Oversee the creation and distribution of engaging content across digital platforms.

  • Work with content creators, designers, and copywriters to produce high-quality content.


SEO and SEM:

  • Optimize website content and structure for search engines to improve organic search rankings.

  • Manage paid search campaigns and track performance metrics.


Social Media Management:

  • Develop social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.

  • Manage and grow the company's presence across social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and others.


Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics.

  • Generate and present detailed reports on campaign performance, ROI, and other key metrics.

Email Marketing:

  • Develop and implement email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive conversions.

  • Segment email lists and personalize email content to target specific audiences.


Budget Management:

  • Allocate and manage the digital marketing budget efficiently.

  • Monitor spending to ensure campaigns stay within budget and achieve desired results.


Lead Generation and Conversion:

  • Develop strategies to attract, convert, and retain customers.

  • Optimize conversion paths and landing pages to increase lead generation and sales.


Partnership and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and product development, to align marketing strategies with business objectives.

  • Work with external agencies and vendors to execute campaigns.


Staying Updated:

  • Stay current with digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies.

  • Implement new strategies and techniques to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualification, Experiences and Competencies

Educational Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.

  • A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot, Hootsuite) can be advantageous.


Experience:

  • Proven experience in a digital marketing role, with a track record of successful campaigns.

  • Experience managing and optimizing PPC campaigns, SEO, email marketing, and social media marketing.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and marketing automation software.

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and content management systems (CMS) like WordPress is a plus.


Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Ability to analyze campaign performance and ROI.


Creativity:

  • Creative thinking to develop innovative and engaging marketing campaigns.

  • Strong design sensibility and familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) can be beneficial

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to create compelling content and communicate effectively with stakeholders.


Project Management Skills:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage resources effectively.


Adaptability:

  • Flexibility to adapt to the rapidly changing digital landscape.

  • Willingness to learn new tools and techniques.


Customer Focus:

  • Strong understanding of customer behavior and the ability to tailor campaigns to meet customer needs and preferences.

  • Experience in customer journey mapping and user experience (UX) optimization.


Leadership and Team Management:

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of digital marketing professionals.

  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing external partners and agencies.
