Job Description
Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced EHS officer to work in Mbarara Uganda.
Job Summary
The EHS Officer’s primary responsibility is to ensure safety and environmental compliance within the workplace, and this involves risk assessment, policy development, safety compliance, training and education, emergency response and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities
Hazard identification and risk mitigation
Workforce protection and safe equipment operation
Rectify unsafe practices and conditions.
Emergency response and prevention of new hazards.
Safety communication & awareness facilitation.
Workplace safety compliance and policy development.
Accident investigation and prevention.
Training employees about their role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports on health and safety matters.

Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Minimum of a diploma in an engineering/science course from a recognized institute
Certificate in HSE from a recognized certifying body.
At least 5 years of experience in the same role.
Confidence, Integrity, Trustworthy, Respectful, Team Player and Innovator.
Honesty and reliable, possess cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Needs to be flexible and able to demonstrate sound work ethics.
