Job Description
Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is the largest African Coca-Cola Bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda is a subsidiary of CCBA. We are currently seeking to recruit a Fleet Fuel Clerk based in Kampala.
As a Fleet Fuel Clerk, you will report directly to the Fleet and CDE Planner.
KEY PURPOSE STATEMENT
To professionally manage the issuance of fuel to the Company’s Fleet and cleanness of the fuel pump to the agreed parameters, so that the company
complies with all statutory requirements as well as to ensure that the company is cost effective in its product distribution from a fleet point of view.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise fuel delivery at the facility ensuring truck seals are intact, fuel type and contracted amount is correct before unloading.
Check facility fuel tanks prior to and post offloading of new delivery to confirm ordered quantity corresponds to order and delivery note.
Ensure delivery vehicle is emptied fully before departing.
Ensure daily fuel quantity checks and record keeping.
Ensure full compliance of operational activities with CCBU rules, regulations, policies and strategies.
Input to the elaboration of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in operations, in consultation with the direct supervisor and office Management.
Operate a fuel pump and fill vehicle’s tanks with diesel to a specific quantity.
Ensure safety and cleanness of the fuel dispensing pump.
Provide accountability of all transactions to and from the fuel tank.

Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or an Equivalent is required.
Good knowledge of the fuel station equipment including tank monitoring devices, automated signs and fuel dispensers.
Understanding of key business cost drivers
Strong enough to stand for long periods
Knowledge:
Required to work a variety of shifts, as well as weekends and night shifts.
Capable of adhering to instructions
Ability to adhere to work assignments and meet designated deadlines.
Remains calm in control and good humoured even under pressure.
