City Ambulance responds to any medical emergency with well-equipped ambulances and highly trained personnel in the shortest time possible to save life. Our target response time is 15 minutes.
Our ambulances operate 24/7, hence capable of responding to emergencies both day and night.
All the ambulance vehicles are equipped to the highest international standards for rescue services with self-loading, scoop and basket stretchers, vacuum mattress, splints and collars, wheel chair, two oxygen cylinders, multi-parameter patient monitor, infusion pump, suction machine, nebulizer, defibrillator, automatic portable ventilator, emergency drugs and supplies.
Job Description
A Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing a company's fleet of vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities
Vehicle Acquisition and Disposal
Procurement: Selecting and purchasing or leasing vehicles that meet the company's needs and budget.
Disposal: Managing the resale or disposal of old or underperforming vehicles to maximize return on investment.
Maintenance and Repair
Routine Maintenance: Scheduling regular maintenance to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition and comply with safety regulations.
Repairs: Coordinating and overseeing repairs to minimize downtime and extend vehicle life.
Compliance and Safety
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all vehicles meet local, state, and federal regulations regarding safety, emissions, and operation.
Safety Programs: Implementing and monitoring safety protocols and training programs to reduce accidents and ensure driver safety.
Fuel Management
Fuel Efficiency: Monitoring fuel consumption and implementing strategies to improve fuel efficiency and reduce costs.
Fuel Purchasing: Negotiating fuel contracts and managing fuel cards or accounts.
Cost Control and Budgeting
Budgeting: Developing and managing the fleet budget, including forecasting costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Cost Analysis: Analyzing expenses related to vehicle acquisition, maintenance, fuel, and repairs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Fleet Tracking and Reporting
Telematics: Utilizing GPS and other telematics systems to monitor vehicle location, usage, and performance.
Reporting: Generating reports on fleet performance, including utilization, maintenance, and cost metrics.
Driver Management
Driver Scheduling: Coordinating and optimizing driver schedules to ensure efficient use of the fleet.
Training and Compliance: Ensuring drivers are properly trained, licensed, and compliant with company policies and regulations.
Vendor Management
Service Providers: Managing relationships with service providers such as maintenance shops, fuel suppliers, and leasing companies.
Contracts and Negotiations: Negotiating contracts and service agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Technology Integration
Fleet Management Software: Implementing and managing fleet management software to streamline operations and improve data accuracy.
Innovations: Staying informed about new technologies and trends in fleet management to enhance operational efficiency.
Environmental Responsibility
Sustainability Initiatives: Implementing eco-friendly practices, such as adopting electric or hybrid vehicles and reducing the fleet's carbon footprint.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive & Mechanical Engineering / Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
5 years working experience in fleet management.
Hands on experience in GPS tracking & Microsoft Office Suite.
