Job Description

Job Summary: The Fuel Bowser Truck Operator is responsible for operating fuel trucks to transport and deliver fuel to specified sites.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate maintenance trucks equipped with tools and equipment for servicing heavy machinery.

  • Operate fuel trucks to transport and deliver fuel.

  • Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and cranes.

  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify mechanical issues.

  • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, fluid changes, and component inspections.

  • Follow maintenance schedules and work orders.

  • Communicate with equipment operators and supervisors to coordinate maintenance activities.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the maintenance truck and its equipment.

  • Load and offload fuel safely, ensuring proper handling.

  • Maintain accurate records of fuel deliveries, including quantities, locations, and times.

  • Identify and report any operational issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor

Qualification, Experiences and Competencies

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with heavy equipment.

  • Valid License to operate the heavy machine

  • Proficiency in operating maintenance and fuel trucks.

  • Strong diagnostic and maintenance skills.

  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members.

  • Commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
