Job Summary: The Fuel Bowser Truck Operator is responsible for operating fuel trucks to transport and deliver fuel to specified sites.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operate maintenance trucks equipped with tools and equipment for servicing heavy machinery.
Operate fuel trucks to transport and deliver fuel.
Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and cranes.
Conduct diagnostic tests to identify mechanical issues.
Carry out preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, fluid changes, and component inspections.
Follow maintenance schedules and work orders.
Communicate with equipment operators and supervisors to coordinate maintenance activities.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the maintenance truck and its equipment.
Load and offload fuel safely, ensuring proper handling.
Maintain accurate records of fuel deliveries, including quantities, locations, and times.
Identify and report any operational issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with heavy equipment.
Valid License to operate the heavy machine
Proficiency in operating maintenance and fuel trucks.
Strong diagnostic and maintenance skills.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members.
Commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
