Job Description

This position is accountable for ensuring continuity of computer services for computer users throughout the organization through planning, technical leadership, and project coordination. The role holder will be responsible for analyzing and directing all IT related activities of the organization with supervisory responsibilities for all staff assigned to the IT department
Reports To: Chief Finance Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the end user experience of the organization’s IT services, directing end users to the appropriate service providers.
Analyze & evaluate employee experience feedback with a continuous improvement mindset.
Participate in Service Reviews with Central Teams to ensure providers are delivering the services required, identifying and implementing solutions for continuous improvements
Maintain the Knowledge for all market specific organization capabilities and services
Maintain local application landscape roadmap in conjunction with the organization’s strategic roadmap
Identify local business demand and feed through to Business Partner
Create, Assess and Manage changes related to local application, infrastructure and other elements
Implement employee cyber education with local Compliance, Controls and Ethics champions
Create and Maintain IT Service Continuity Plan
Execute/ Invoke IT Service Continuity Plan as needed
Manage the organization’s cost centers ensuring value optimization of organization costs
Deliver technical or infrastructure projects that require local or regional involvement
Manage local “hands & eyes” activity (Provision, Support (break fix, issue resolution) and Maintain communications / connectivity for site networks, servers
Facilitate physical delivery / recovery of IT Assets (excluding software)
Monitor / Administer the physical Environment where the Market Infrastructure is located including aspects like power, cooling and building management
Hands on support to business and stakeholder meetings, workshops and conferences Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting to identify issues.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Bachelor's Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
At least 5 years of progressive responsibilities in IS or an IS focused business area
At least 3 years of relevant experience in FMCG Industry preferably in ICT, SAP or related ERP optimization.
Training or knowledge of supported business domain areas.
Experience interpreting business requirements, recognizing impact on business processes, and making recommendations
Demonstrated capability in managing and delivering services (BPO and infrastructure).
Demonstrated capability to build and maintain good business relationships.
