Job Description

Lafab Solutions is actively seeking reliable and committed individuals to enhance our team as Household Maids. In this role, you will be pivotal in providing top-tier service, ensuring our clients’ homes in Kampala and Wakiso are spotless and comfortable.

Duties and Responsibilities
Execute comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
Thoroughly clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and communal living spaces.
Manage bedding requirements, including making beds, changing linens, and assisting with laundry.
Organize and upkeep cleanliness in all household areas, focusing on closets, cabinets, and storage units.
Support meal preparation and perform light cooking duties.
Adhere to strict cleaning and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Prior experience in housekeeping or related fields preferred but not mandatory.
Self-driven with the ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
Exceptional attention to detail coupled with superior time management skills.
Effective communicator with robust interpersonal skills.
A proactive attitude and a readiness to embrace new learning opportunities.
Competent in managing basic household cleaning tools and adhering to hygiene standards.
Key Skills Required:
Proficiency in cooking, childcare, laundry tasks, cleaning, and elderly care.
Excellent communication abilities.
Adaptability and flexibility in various domestic settings.
Demonstrable cleanliness and sanitary practices.
Basic cooking skills.
English literacy is beneficial
Quick learning capacity.
Capability to care for children and manage laundry effectively.
Traits of patience, compassion, nurturing, and understanding.
Strong organizational skills and respectful demeanor.
Salary and Benefits:
Competitive entry salary of UGX 110,000, with potential raises to UGX 150,000, UGX 200,000, and UGX 240,000 based on demonstrated skill and performance.
