Job Description
Follow-up the implementation of interface responsibilities and requirements between Contractors and between Contractors and Company.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures HSE is given the highest priority, promotes HSEQ awareness of workforce at all levels in co-operation.
RSES for Construction and Drilling and is addressed in the implementation procedures.
Identification with the packages, the activities which will be subject to COMOPS and SIMOPS.
Provide support to the various work packages at the interfaces to ensure accurate understanding of scope and responsibility split.
Planning co-ordination and risk identification between the different packages and to liaise accordingly with the Planning department.
Develop and update the COMOPS philosophy for the interfaces.
Follow-up the implementation of interface responsibilities and requirements between Contractors and between Contractors and Company.
Participation in the preparation of handover of interfaces between work packages.
Assist in verifying the quality of deliverables associated to inter-package interfaces within the area of responsibility.
Promote timely identification of potential interface execution problems as they arise.
Assist in the follow-up of all matters concerning the interfaces and check the conformity of the activities carried out by the work packages to project specifications, their impact and consistency with the project schedule/ priority.
Contribute to the change management coordination and implementation as required.
Initiate and attend coordination meetings as required to manage all identified co-activities and mitigate any associated risks.
Reporting as required to ensure efficient internal communication and decision making.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Engineering degree.
Minimum 9 years oil & gas experience (Company graduate program engineer or relevant experience) with significant relevant multi-discipline engineering experience in oil and gas or large complex industrial projects is required to provide the necessary overview of the business, with experience in project engineering.
A minimum of 5-6 years participation in any of the following activities is paramount: Projects / Construction, Drilling, Production Operations, Commissioning, onshore or offshore sites are preferred – Site Experience is a minimum requirement.
Key knowledge of Company Group – Rules, General Specifications and Guide Manuals with focus on Operations and HSE topics.
Strong technical background with verifiable and tangible experience in SIMOPS / COMOPS.
Operations (Drilling & Production and Construction & Production).
Strong technical, analytical, innovative and commercial skills.
Good communication skills and an aptitude for taking initiatives are essential, as is the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams. Ability to manage the relationship with key stakeholders.
Proven track record of result deliveries in challenging project environments.
