Today Finance Trust Bank is a fully-fledged commercial bank serving a clientele of over 500,000 depositors and over 37,000 borrowers, through a network of 35 branches countrywide. The bank offers a variety of Products and services including; Savings, Current accounts, Loans, Money transfer services and Bills payments to its target market which comprises of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs, salary earners and youth.
Job Description
The adequacy and effectiveness of the bank’s systems on governance, risk management and controls and contribute towards improvement of those systems at Finance Trust Bank.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop risk-based audit plans for the audit areas assigned to you.
Audit and prepare quality working papers for the assigned areas that comply with standards and policy.
Prepare quality draft reports for review by the Internal Audit Supervisor.
Ensure timely execution of assignments that have been allocated by the Internal Audit Supervisor.
Review of Bank of Uganda monthly and weekly returns.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Internal Audit Department or any other bank management.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting/Finance or business related field
Part professional qualifications like CIA, ACCA, CPA.
At least two (2) years’ working experience in either general banking or credit in a commercial banking environment.
Good knowledge of MS Office, related applications & Banking Software
Demonstrated high integrity, independence, objectivity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
High level of Organization.
Good report writing and presentation skills.
Good personal presentation.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Willingness to travel upcountry frequently.
