SIGNALYTIC was born from its founders' lived experience in Subsaharan Africa, where they witnessed the loss of life and human capital due to shortages of drugs and quality care in rural and remote health facilities. Since 2018 SIGNALYTIC has worked to develop a novel technology stack which bridges the digital infrastructure gap, allowing health providers to provide better care to their patients by decreasing drug shortages and reliably accessing the digital tools they need. As a social enterprise we strive for lasting change with technology that can be locally supported and maintained. Actionable electronic health data supports health care providers in the delivery of quality care, reduces cost and saves lives.
Our Product
We create sustainable hardware and software to provide a modern distributed platform for electronic health management. Our product is a network of solar-powered edge servers that provide local connectivity. Software layers provide data storage and security, efficient communication between servers, and Internet access to data. Users interact primarily through Android applications, and the server network is managed through a web-based console.

Duties and Responsibilities
Firstly, you will be responsible for providing in-person technical support to S+ Systems deployed in the field.
This will involve software, firmware, and limited hardware fixes.
Your role is to be the first response for any technical problems arising on S+ Systems in the field.
Secondly, for faulty systems that can’t be repaired in-field, you will be responsible for fixing faulty components returned to the Signalytic Kampala office.
You will report unexpected problems to the engineering team for follow up.
Thirdly, you will be responsible for overseeing the proper installation of S+ Systems in new Health Facilities.
You will be responsible for ensuring 3rd parties install S+ Systems according to company guidelines, and perform quality assurance on newly installed systems.
