Job Description

The Learning Associate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing effective educational programs that meet the diverse needs of learner. This position requires a passion for education, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
The Learning Associate will assess program effectiveness, utilize feedback for continuous improvement, and ensure that learning materials are relevant and engaging.
The ideal applicant should possess a deep understanding of instructional design principles and be proficient in leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences. They should have the ability to train others in the content developed, ensuring that staff and participants can effectively apply what they’ve learned.
The applicant should possess the confidence to analyze data to inform educational strategies and demonstrating leadership in fostering an inclusive learning environment are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and curate instructional materials, resources, and assessments.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for training staff and learners.

  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and initiatives.

  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and engagement.

Qualification, Experiences and Competencies

  • Degree in Relevant Field: A bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, educational technology, human resources, or a related field. Advanced degrees can be advantageous.

  • Additional Certifications: Certifications in training and development, instructional design, or specific educational technologies may be beneficial.


Experience:

  • Relevant Work Experience: Some experience in teaching, training, instructional design, or a related field is often required.

  • Technical Experience: Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other educational technologies can be important.


Skills and Competencies:

  • Instructional Design Skills: Ability to design and develop engaging and effective learning materials and programs.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with learners, educators, and stakeholders.

  • Technological Proficiency: Proficiency in using educational technologies, multimedia tools, and online learning platforms.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with learners, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

  • Assessment Skills: Ability to design and implement assessments to measure learning outcomes and program effectiveness.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify learning challenges and develop effective solutions.

  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
