Job Description

The Marketing and Events Coordinator reports to the Marketing Manager and is responsible for creating and implementing advertising, marketing, and communication plans to increase brand recognition, drive sales, and develop a consistent approach that resonates with our audience and stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Marketing Manager in planning and executing tactical marketing campaigns/initiatives to enhance brand awareness and preference for CFAO Mobility's products and services within the automotive industry.

  • Collaborate with agency teams to effectively implement CFAO Mobility's short, medium, and long-term communication and events objectives.

  • Ensure timely implementation of the annual marketing and events calendar by proactively coordinating stakeholder engagements and driving superior customer experiences and engagement.

  • Develop and deploy evaluation and measurement tools to assess ROI and KPIs for all marketing campaigns and communication activities, ensuring continuous improvement and effectiveness.

  • Stay abreast of market trends, conduct consumer market research, and monitor competitors' activities to inform strategic decisions and proactive actions.

  • Assist the Marketing Manager in coordinating responses to media inquiries and cultivate relationships with journalists and press members to enhance media coverage and brand visibility.

  • Plan and execute external events, including trade shows, product launches, and community events, to increase brand visibility and engagement with target audiences.

  • Support internal communication initiatives and events to foster staff engagement and cultivate knowledgeable and passionate brand ambassadors within the organization.

  • Oversee and enhance customer touchpoints, including all facility signage, showroom experiences, and customer events, to ensure alignment with brand messaging and provide exceptional customer engagement and satisfaction.

Qualification, Experiences and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.

  • Experience in Advertising or Below-The-Line (BTL) agency work is an added advantage.


Key competencies and skills

  • Proven experience in marketing, events coordination, or related roles, preferably within the automotive industry.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external agencies.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and familiarity with marketing analytics tools.

  • Knowledge of automotive industry trends and consumer behavior is an advantage.
