Job Description
Quality Plastics (U) Ltd is hiring a self driven and innovative Material Controller, to receive, store & issue raw material, receive finished product from production, store & load customer trucks according to sales plan. Self-driven and able to work in a team, knowledge in system requirement and ability to learn, ability to prioritize tasks, excellent record keeping skills and excellent communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
To receive raw materials & ensure all supplementary documents are accurate.
To timely issue materials to production (the right material required & in the right qty)
To monitor stock levels & update the inventory manager on stock levels below the minimum.
Receive finished goods from factory, checking quantity and ensuring that goods are labelled properly for easy traceability and identification before stacking/ storage.
To timely receive materials from plastic/ production.
To ensure qty received from production/Plastics are accurate at all time.
To ensure materials are arranged per customer/ grammage in the store. With clear identification tags.
Ensure all materials are kept in a hygienic environment & dusty free.
To ensure dusting of materials is done as per dusting schedule.
To carry out material & finished product counts according to counting plan.
To timely share any observed material variance with the inventory manager to enable timely reconciliations.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Degree in procurement & Logistics Mgt, Degree in accounting, Degree in statistics.
Knowledge of basic computer application like MS- Office, Excel and power point etc.
Minimum working experience of 2 years is a must.
Team Good interpersonal skills.
Skills in inventory management system
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
