Job Description
To ensure all the activities that contribute to the effective functioning of the equipment maintenance process, namely in terms of workshop organization, technical assistance, resource management, documentation and cost control.
Duties and Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance:
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
Schedule and conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment.
Monitor and maintain the condition of equipment through routine checks.
Corrective Maintenance:
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures or breakdowns.
Repair or replace defective parts to restore functionality.
Perform emergency maintenance when unexpected issues arise.
Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:
Create detailed maintenance schedules and ensure they are adhered to.
Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruptions during maintenance activities.
Manage and optimize maintenance budgets and resources.
Record Keeping and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and part replacements.
Develop and update maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Performance Analysis and Improvement:
Analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement.
Implement changes to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety of equipment.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and maintenance practices.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Higher Education in Mechanical Engineering;
At least 5 years' professional experience in the maintenance of mobile equipment and industrial plants (concrete and asphalt);
Experience in roadway, oil & gas or infrastructure projects (preferred);
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools;
Proficiency in English (spoken and written);
Leadership;
Rigor and reliability;
Initiative and proactivity;
Mobility availability.
