Supervise the day-to-day client centered nursing care provision in the hospital Participate in budgeting planning monitoring and evaluation of nursing/midwifery service of the hospital

Duties and Responsibilities
Draw, implement and monitor quality improvement strategies in nursing of patients at the hospital
Lead, Motivate, support staff and develop skills and knowledge of the nurses and midwives
Offer effective working relationship with staff, building teamwork leading to good clinical care
Draw, allocate and monitor duty coverage of nurses and midwives in the hospital to ensure timely and client centered care
Supervise the day-to-day client centered nursing care provision in the hospital Participate in budgeting planning monitoring and evaluation of nursing/midwifery service of the hospital

Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
A minimum of a diploma in Nursing /midwifery obtained from a recognized institution of higher learning with full registration with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives council, Valid Annual practicing license
A minimum of five (5) years of working experience of which three (3) must have been gained from a supervisory position in a reputable health institution
