Job Description

In summary, an Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that an organization's operations run smoothly, efficiently, and effectively. This involves a combination of strategic planning, team leadership, financial management, and continuous improvement to achieve organizational goals and deliver high-quality products and services.

Duties and Responsibilities

Technology and Innovation

  • Technology Integration: Implement and manage technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Innovation: Encourage and support innovation within the operations team to drive continuous improvement.

  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor operational performance and make informed decisions.

  • Reporting and Performance Metrics

  • Operational Reporting: Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics for senior management.


  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate operational performance, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Benchmarking: Compare operational performance against industry benchmarks and best practices to drive continuous improvement.


Vendor and Supplier Management

  • Supplier Relationships: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

  • Supply Chain Optimization: Optimize the supply chain to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualification, Experiences and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years in hotel operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

  • Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial management.

  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Ezee or Macros).

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and guest satisfaction.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

  • Flexible, adaptable, with a positive and proactive attitude
