Job Description
Roofings Group is the leading manufacturer of quality steel and plastic building products in East Africa. We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated, technically experienced, and competent persons, with zeal to perform beyond expectations and excited to Join a (30) years leading steel manufacturer.

Duties and Responsibilities
Control and monitor all production activities in the Plant.
Product quality inspection and improvement
Production Planning for raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
Machine Care and maintenance.
Labor planning and control.
Productivity planning and improvement (Goal and Value Setting).
Process control and Inventory Management.
Process monitoring, evaluation, and measurement.
Spare parts, tools planning and management.
Ensure material accountability.
Interface with different stake holders; internal and external.

Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent from recognized university
A Minimum of five (5) years’ working experience as a production Engineer in a similar work environment.
Ability to identify and define problems, collect, analyze, and interpret data, draw appropriate conclusions, and propose solutions or corrective action.
Ability to work with minimum or no supervision.
Strong organizational and supervisory skills
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
Must be self-motivated and a great team player.
