Job Description
Are you passionate about driving change within your community? Do you possess expertise in water safety, lifeguarding, or aquatics management? Reach A Hand Uganda (RAHU) is actively looking for a committed individual to undertake the pivotal role of Program Manager, Water Safety, and Drowning Prevention.
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic planning and oversight of water safety initiatives
Conducting research, crafting policies, and advocating for change.
Enhancing capacity and fostering innovation in drowning prevention.
Establishing valuable partnerships and maintaining donor relationships.
Financial management, ensuring compliance, and conducting risk assessments.
Developing human resources and providing supervision.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Recreation Management, or a related field.
3-5 years of pertinent experience in water safety or affiliated domains.
Necessary certifications in lifeguarding, CPR, first aid, and water safety instruction.
Exceptional leadership and communication proficiencies.
Proficient in data analysis and skilled in project management.
