About The Role
The RD&A Technologist role focuses on driving the development and application of innovative food and beverage products, ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction within our research and development team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Project Management in Research & Innovation:

Leading projects from research through to application and commercialization.
Managing sensory evaluations specifically related to beverages.
Supporting beverage applications using equipment and processes.

Recipe Development:

Applying scientific principles to enhance product attributes beyond taste.
Refining existing application information and procedures based on customer feedback.

Product and Raw Material Support:

Maintaining stock of standardized products and raw materials.
Validating ingredient functionality and ensuring product stability and safety through shelf-life studies.

Documentation and Laboratory Skills:

Recording all research outputs and testing results as per protocols.
Hands-on laboratory work and data analysis.

Qualification, Experiences and Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related Applied Science field.
Strong interest and understanding of ingredient functionality and recipe formulation.
Innovative thinker with the ability to generate and implement new ideas.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while seeking guidance from senior team members.
Preferably 2-3 years of experience in laboratory settings, food production facilities, or relevant industry internships.
Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Meticulous attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
Entrepreneurial mindset, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment with demanding deadlines.
