Job Description
To deliver high quality customer experience and customer retention through managing client relationships and customer interactions to enhance product sales and new client growth to meet individual performance targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
Activity Planning
Understand geographical sector of the Branch and be aware of its commercial potential
Analyze the environment factors affecting the Branch and its competition.
Periodically analyze the assigned portfolio of customers
Ensure weekly sales and activity plans are in place.Activity Steering
Daily follow up and review of achievements (prospective customers/actual customer interviews and sales)
Attend weekly sales meetings and report activities and achievements each week (actual and prospective customer visits) to the Branch Manager.
Analyze personal achievements with Branch Manager and agree an action plan and corrective actions.
Customer Management, Retention and Acquisition
Recruit new customers to the bank through signing them up for bank accounts, credit applications and other products and services.
Plan and make visits to targeted customers and prospects in line with BOA Sales practices and guidelines.
Sell the bank products and services in order to achieve set sales and portfolio management targets.
Offer after sales and advisory services to customers and prospective clients through growth and retention strategies crowned with courteous service
Participate in sales activations and other forms of customer events.
Build and grow a portfolio of individual and SME customers through direct and cross selling initiatives.
Collect loan documents and input requests for credit facilities into the bank’s loans management platform in line with laid down procedures.
Support recovery initiatives for non-performing credit facilities.
Collect, process and follow up customer complaints and provide feedback to customers.
Carry out any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies or related discipline
Good banking knowledge
Good market practice knowledge
Excellent planning, organization and execution skills
Computer literate and familiarity with standard office computer applications
Product knowledge
