Job Description
Provide oversight and manage the Risk, Recovery and tracking department in line with company objectives and guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
Review, update and ensure implementation of Risk, Recovery and tracking policies and procedures
Developing and implementing policies and contingency plans to reduce and control risks and liabilities.
Prepare and present risk assessment reports and proposals.
Plan, design and implement an overall risk management process for the company
Conduct risk assessment and recommend mitigation interventions to Management
Evaluate risk levels and implications and create risk appetite profile in line with company operations
Handling the credit team in managing the daily administration for loan documentation in full compliance with the internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
Review loan documents and liaise with internal and external parties to ensure proper and efficient delivery of credit administration duties.
Ensure all lending documentation is complete as per the Company Policy and Procedures with respect to the amount financed, terms and conditions, borrower’s borrowing mandate, authorized signatory etc.
Ensure post disbursement compliance with approved terms and conditions in line with the credit policy.
Generate and review daily system credit monitoring and management reports and identify non-performing accounts with irregularities
Coordinate teams to proactively follow up to ensure corrective action is taken in line with credit policy.
Monitor all irregularities, past dues, documentation deficiencies, etc., and report to the Branch Manager.
Release all the impounded bikes and doing the necessary documentation.
Conduct spot checks on the operations team and document feedback
Ensure that the repayments are coming in and arrears are being followed up
Monitor and evaluate staff’s performance, and provide relevant guidance, coaching and training ensuring high performance levels line with the company and departmental guidelines.

Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Microfinance or any related field
Must have 3-5 years of working experience in similar roles in reputable organizations
Applicant must have at least two (2) years working experience in micro credit environment
Must possess excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to function under pressure.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must have high levels of personal and professional integrity
Must be able and willing to ride a motorcycle and possess a valid riding license with Class A
