Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Agent at Prudential Uganda in Kampala, with the flexibility for some remote work. The Sales Agent will be responsible for daily tasks such as communicating with customers, providing excellent customer service, driving sales, promoting insurance products, and conducting training sessions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Market Research and Analysis: Staying informed about market trends, competitors, and customer preferences to better tailor sales strategies.

  • Sales Reporting: Keeping accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions. Reporting performance metrics to management.

  • Product Knowledge: Staying updated on the company's products or services, including new releases, updates, and best practices for usage

  • Compliance and Ethical Standards: Adhering to company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.

  • Collaboration with Team Members: Working with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to align sales efforts with overall business goals.

  • Training and Development: Continuously improving sales skills and product knowledge through training and professional development.

Qualification, Experiences and Competencies

  • Communication and Customer Service skills

  • Sales and Insurance experience preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships

  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated

  • Knowledge of financial services industry

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
