Job Description
The Sales Operations Manager will lead the M-KOPA Uganda sales team, develop sales strategies, and execute plans to optimize sales processes. This role is responsible for building and leading a high-performing team, managing sales data, and ensuring alignment with company goals. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and contribute to the overall success of the sales organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support in directing sales strategy and direction in Uganda
Develop and refine efficient sales processes
Define and improve sales operational plans
Identify market trends to enhance marketing efforts
Manage budgeting aligned with P&L targets
Drive sales performance across all channels
Expand retail partnerships and increase channel sales
Track and analyze sales data with business intelligence teams
Sales Team Management
Manage field employees, administrators, and trainers, including training and performance.
Oversee field and operations employee performance.
Define OKRs, develop operational reports, and support target achievement.
Implement incentive and commission programs.
Drive team engagement.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in any related field
At least 3+ years of sales or commercial management
Proven Leadership experience in sales
A master’s degree is an added advantage.
