Job Description
Light for the world in partnership with Mastercard Foundation associate program and Uganda Breweries Limited are offering a 12 months paid work placement to graduates with disabilities in Uganda.
Duties and Responsibilities
Data Analysis:
Sales Metrics Monitoring: Tracking and analyzing key sales metrics, such as sales volume, revenue, and conversion rates.
Trend Analysis: Identifying sales trends and patterns to provide insights for improving sales strategies.
Reporting:
Report Generation: Creating regular reports on sales performance for management and sales teams.
Dashboard Maintenance: Maintaining and updating sales performance dashboards to provide real-time insights.
Sales Support:
Sales Tools Management: Assisting in the management and optimization of sales tools and CRM systems.
Documentation: Preparing and maintaining sales documentation, including presentations, proposals, and sales guides.
Performance Evaluation:
KPI Tracking: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.
Performance Reviews: Assisting in the preparation of performance review materials for sales team members.
Training and Development:
Training Materials: Assisting in the creation of training materials and resources for the sales team.
Onboarding Support: Supporting the onboarding process for new sales team members.
Market Research:
Competitive Analysis: Conducting research on competitors and market conditions to provide strategic insights.
Customer Feedback: Gathering and analyzing customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in sales processes.
Strategy Implementation:
Sales Strategies: Supporting the implementation of sales strategies and initiatives to drive sales growth.
Campaign Support: Assisting in the execution of sales campaigns and promotions.
Administrative Tasks:
Meeting Coordination: Scheduling and organizing meetings for the sales team.
Correspondence Management: Handling communication and correspondence related to sales performance activities.
Collaboration:
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure alignment with sales objectives.
Feedback Loop: Facilitating the feedback loop between sales teams and management to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a related field is typically required.
Skills:
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and identify trends.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail for accurate reporting and data analysis.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for creating reports and interacting with the sales team.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using sales performance tools, CRM systems, and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Salesforce, Tableau).
Experience:
Entry-Level Positions: Entry-level positions may require 1-2 years of experience in sales support, data analysis, or a related field.
Relevant Projects: Practical experience through school projects, internships, or freelance work can be beneficial.
Certification (Optional but Beneficial):
Certified Sales Professional (CSP): Certification offered by the National Association of Sales Professionals (NASP).
Salesforce Certification: Certification for proficiency in using Salesforce CRM.
Microsoft Excel Certification: Certification to demonstrate advanced skills in Excel.
Knowledge:
Sales Processes: Understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
Market Dynamics: Familiarity with market dynamics and customer behavior.
Performance Metrics: Knowledge of key sales performance metrics and how to track them.
