Job Description
Be Energy Limited is an oil marketing company in Uganda with already existing successful affiliates under Be Energy Group with a presence in East and Central Africa through the marketing and supply of petroleum products through Kenya to Uganda, DRC, Burundi, South Sudan, and Rwanda.
We are currently looking for inspired and experienced individuals to join our team and take on the following position
Duties and Responsibilities
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Identify potential clients through various methods such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Maintain a database of prospects and follow up regularly.
Sales Presentations:
Present and demonstrate products or services to prospective clients.
Tailor presentations to address the specific needs and interests of each client.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Provide ongoing support and address client inquiries and concerns promptly.
Negotiating and Closing Sales:
Negotiate terms of sales agreements, including price, delivery, and service terms.
Close sales deals and ensure that all contractual terms are met.
Market Research:
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Collect and analyze data to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Typically, a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
Experience:
Previous sales experience is highly valued, particularly in the relevant industry.
Experience with customer service and client relationship management can be advantageous.
Skills:
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiating terms and closing deals.
Analytical Skills: Capability to analyze market trends and sales data.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks efficiently.
