Job Description
The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to provide a comprehensive human resources and welfare support to ensure the well-being, safety and development of employees and clients. He/she will ensure a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with the company’s values and objectives, compliance and driving business success through effective HR management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and procedures.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management and training.
Ensure compliance with employment laws.
Administer employee benefits, remuneration and statutory deductions on time.
Develop and implement strategies that celebrate successes, milestones and provide regular feedback.
Oversee workforce mobility, ensuring optimal staffing levels across all roles while aligning with organizational policies and objectives.
Allocate resources and job assignments efficiently to meet organizational needs and requirements.
Ensure transparency, integrity, and fairness in all internal mobility processes.
Ensuring HR records are maintained.
Collaborate with employees to define development goals and recommend appropriate actions, such as evaluations, training programs, coaching sessions, etc.
Define clear objectives for each employee's professional development within their respective positions.
Provide regular HR reports.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of progressive generalist Human Resources management.
Professional certifications such as CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of labor laws.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
Ability to foster healthy employee relations.
Creative skills.
Added Advantage
Masters’ degree in HR or relevant certification is a plus.
Experience with Human Resources Management Software
