The National Water and Sewerage Corporation is a water supply and sanitation company in Uganda. It is wholly owned by the government of Uganda.
Job Description
Responsible for effective and proactive development and maintenance of all NWSC in-house software and IT applications to ensure the promotion of efficiency and innovative business solutions as well as enhancement of sustainable digitization and automation of NWSC’s business processes.

Duties and Responsibilities
Effective enforcement of NWSC IT Policies
Development of Business Applications as per NWSC needs and requirements
Well tested and secure business applications that meet all the needs and requirements of the end users.
Proactive analysis of the Corporation’s business requirements and translation of these into well functioning and cost effective innovative business solutions
Timely integration and interfacing of the different software and applications that exist within the corporation to enhance automation and efficiency of business processes.
Effective support to the Corporate Reporting and Business Intelligence functions.
Carry out any other tasks assigned by Management.

Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in: Information Technology / Computer Science / Software Engineering / Application Development/ or related field
Master’s degree in: Information Technology Management / Business Administration / Project Management / or related field
Certification in Oracle or Microsoft or SQL programming Preferred additional qualifications: o IT Professional Qualification / Certification / Affiliation
Experience
A minimum of ten (10) years of postgraduate experience in IT services – IT governance or applications development or systems administration or IT security management or infrastructure or networks.
A minimum of five (05) years of postgraduate qualification experience in IT software/applications development and business solutions provision.
Age Limit: 35 to 45 years of age
Five years working with a large organization/firm is a must.
