Providing technical support in revision, formulation and implementation of policies, plans and strategies for costing of prototype building plans and systems construction works in the Uganda Prisons Service;

Tendering technical support to the Public Procurement and Disposal Unit in the preparation of contracts, including details regarding quantities of required materials and estimated costs;

Carrying out ongoing cost analysis of major maintenance and repair work on the Uganda Prisons Service infrastructures;

Providing technical support to technical teams in carrying out feasibility studies for civil construction works in the Uganda Prisons Services;

Analysing completed construction work and advising project implementing entities on payment to contractors;

Conducting construction site visits for assessment and projection for future work and cost implementations;

Supervising, appraising and providing technical guidance to the junior staff;

Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
