Job Description
The Site Engineer- Concrete Works will be responsible to overseeing and managing all aspects of concrete works on construction projects. This includes planning, coordination, and supervision of the concrete-related activities to ensure the project meets quality standards, stays within budget, and is completed on time.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Site Manager- Structural works.
Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.
Supervising and coordinating subcontractors on site.
Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvements on particular projects.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment needs are required.
Giving technical support to procurement to ensure the best contracts.
Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans
Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients
Gathering data, compiling reports, and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.
Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions were required.
Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Valid Registration with ERB may be required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete works on construction projects.
Experience in Oil and gas projects is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
Leadership and Organizational skills
Project Management skills
Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects.
Great written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to learn
