Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Site Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical installations, maintenance, and repairs on site. The successful candidate will ensure that all mechanical works are executed in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all mechanical installations and activities on-site.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of mechanical works.
Monitor daily work progress, quality of workmanship, and adherence to project timelines.
Installation and Commissioning:
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment, such as HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and fire suppression systems.
Ensure that installations comply with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
Quality Control and Assurance:
Implement quality control measures to verify the quality and performance of mechanical installations.
Conduct inspections and checks to identify defects, deficiencies, or deviations from design requirements.
Take corrective actions and ensure that remedial works are completed promptly
Enforce safety protocols and practices to maintain a safe working environment.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks to promote awareness and adherence to safety guidelines.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Education:
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in mechanical supervision or a related field.
Skills:
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Technical knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications in mechanical engineering or supervision
