Duties and Responsibilities
Instruction:
Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
Use various teaching methods and materials to engage students and enhance learning.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Develop and administer tests, quizzes, and other assessments to measure student progress.
Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments and assessments.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
Classroom Management:
Create and maintain a positive, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures.
Manage student behavior and address any disciplinary issues effectively.
Curriculum Development:
Collaborate with colleagues to develop, review, and refine the curriculum.
Integrate technology and other innovative tools into the curriculum.
Ensure the curriculum is inclusive and culturally responsive.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a specific subject area.
A teaching credential or certification in the relevant state or country.
A Master’s degree in Education or a specialized subject area (optional but advantageous).
Professional Experience:
Classroom teaching experience, either through student teaching, internships, or prior teaching positions.
Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying abilities.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of the subject matter and effective teaching practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Classroom management and organizational skills.
Ability to use technology and educational software effectively.
