Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) is actively searching for an individual to serve as a University Controller

Duties and Responsibilities
Act as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Reporting Officer, overseeing the University’s financial accounting, treasury operations, financial systems and payroll.
Provide direction, coordination and supervision for financial planning and administration.
Maintain the University’s accounts in a form determined by the University Council.
Supervise the preparation of daily, monthly, quarterly and financial reports and submit them to the University Council.
Undertake any other duties assigned by the Vice Chancellor.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Master’s degree from a recognized institution in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Human resource or management.
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
Membership in the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda(ICPAU).
At least 6 years of relevant managerial experience in a reputable organization.
