The China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation (CPECC) has announced its 2025 Graduate Trainee Program in Uganda, providing fresh graduates and university students with hands-on industry experience on the Tilenga Oil Development Project in Buliisa District.
This CPECC 2025 Graduate Trainee Program offers a 6-month professional training opportunity in Mechanical Engineering, Scaffolding, and Blasting & Painting, designed to build technical skills, industry exposure, and career readiness for young Ugandan graduates eager to join the oil and gas sector.
CPECC Uganda Ltd. is a subsidiary of the China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation (CPECC), under the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). The company specializes in oil and gas engineering and construction, delivering world-class services in energy infrastructure.
CPECC is a key player in Uganda’s energy development, actively involved in major national projects such as the Kingfisher EPC3 Project and the Tilenga Project, both of which are part of Uganda’s ambitious oil and gas growth strategy.
The CPECC 2025 Graduate Trainee Program aims to nurture the next generation of Ugandan professionals by offering practical, on-site experience. Trainees will work alongside seasoned experts on the Tilenga Oil Development Project, gaining valuable exposure to oilfield operations, safety standards, and engineering best practices.
Program Details:
Duration: 6 months
Location: Buliisa District, Uganda
Eligible Applicants: Fresh graduates and university students (must have graduated within the last 2 years)
