About the Organization:

Recording financial transactions in accounting software or spreadsheets, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Nilezilla Ltd is a private company limited by shares located in Yumbe District, West Nile sub-region, Uganda. Its main objective is to promote the use of locally available fruits in the production of high quality value added products for local, regional and international markets. Currently, the company has established a mango processing factory in Lodonga sub-country, Yumbe District and will start commercial production in May 2024

Organization:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping: Recording financial transactions in accounting software or spreadsheets, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

  • Accounts Payable: Processing invoices from suppliers, verifying their accuracy, and preparing payments for approval.

  • Accounts Receivable: Generating invoices for customers, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.

  • Bank Reconciliation: Comparing the company's financial records with bank statements to ensure they match and resolving any discrepancies.

  • Expense Management: Monitoring and categorizing company expenses, ensuring they are within budget and correctly allocated.

  • Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Assisting with Audits: Providing documentation and support during internal or external audits.

  • Payroll: Assisting in processing employee payroll, including calculating hours worked, deductions, and tax withholdings.

  • Data Entry and Maintenance: Ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and other relevant information.

  • Assisting with Budgeting: Providing support in creating and monitoring the company's budget, including analyzing variances and identifying areas for improvement.

  • General Administrative Tasks: Providing administrative support to the finance department, such as filing documents, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.

  • Ad Hoc Financial Analysis: Conducting basic financial analysis or research projects as requested by management.

Nilezilla Ltd
