About the Organization:

Nation Media Group is Uganda's most influential media house, operating the Daily Monitor, Saturday Monitor, Sunday Monitor and The East African Newspapers, 93.3 KFM, 90.4 Dembe FM and Nation Courier Service. It also operates NTV, the biggest and most popular English-language television station and Spark TV, the first female-focused, and fastest growing television station in Uganda.

We are looking for qualified, experienced and result oriented DEBT EXECUTIVES to ensure prompt debt collection and service existing clients so as to maximize on revenue generation and collection to meet business objectives.

Nation Media Group, formerly East African Newspapers Ltd, is an East African media group listed based in Kenya and listed on the Nairobi Stock Exchange. It is owned by Aga Khan IV.

Organization:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely delivery of invoices, statements and demand notes to all NMGU clients.

  • Ensure that all company debt is collected.

  • Ensure timely reconciliation with the clients for quick payments.

  • Ensure that all credit notes due to the clients have been duly passed and accounts have been adjusted.

  • Make regular client visits and collection of payments.

  • Ensure that all the attachments/supporting documents required by the client are in order to ease the collection process.

  • Report any client's complaints to the Debt Manager and ensure action is taken immediately.

Nation Media Group

  • Academic: University Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution.

  • Professional: Certified Public Accountant or other relevant qualifications.

  • Experience: At least 3 years working experience in Finance and Accounting, Debt Collection or Sales in an FMCG company.
