UAP Old Mutual Insurance
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA): A CFA charterholder specializes in investment management. The CFA program focuses on advanced investment analysis and portfolio management and requires passing three levels of exams.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA): CPAs are experts in accounting and tax planning. Some CPAs also hold the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credential, indicating additional expertise in financial planning.
Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC): Similar to the CFP, this designation requires additional coursework in financial planning, with a focus on insurance and risk management.
Registered Investment Advisor (RIA): RIAs are registered with the SEC or state regulators and are legally obligated to act in their clients' best interests. They typically manage investment portfolios and offer financial advice.
