About the Organization:
Allied Health Professionals Council invites applicants from suitably qualified Ugandans who are competent and self-motivated to apply for the vacant Job
The Allied Health Professionals Council is a corporate body established under the Allied Health Professionals Act Cap. 268 to regulate, supervise, and control the training and practice of the Allied Health Professionals in Uganda. The Council was established to protect the public by maintaining up-to-date registers of registered and licensed professionals, private health units, and recognized training institutions which are published in the Uganda Gazette every year. All employers and the general public are encouraged to always refer to the registers at all times to prevent illegal practitioners or non-recognized health training institutions.

Duties and Responsibilities
Audit Planning: Develop and implement annual audit plans, including risk assessments and audit scope.
Audit Execution: Conduct audits of financial statements, operational processes, and compliance with regulations and policies.
Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate risks, and provide recommendations for mitigation.
Report Writing: Prepare clear and concise audit reports, including findings and recommendations.

Allied Health Council
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
certifications: CIA, CMA, CPA, or CISA certification (or working towards).
Experience: 2+ years of internal auditing experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of auditing standards and practices.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
