Organization:
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the Kampala HQ Petty Cash Unit
Day-to-day Spreadsheet register and ledger management
Weekly budget planning
Employee Expense Report review and closing
Petty cash expense supporting documentation management for all branches
Other tasks assigned by Finance department.

WATU
Bachelor’s Degree: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Relevant Coursework: Courses in financial accounting, managerial accounting, financial analysis, and business law can be particularly beneficial.
Professional Experience
Entry-Level Experience: 0-2 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or related fields. Internships or part-time roles in finance are highly valued.
Industry Exposure: Experience in the specific industry of the employer can be advantageous but is not always required.
Technical Skills and Competencies
Accounting Principles: Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP or IFRS).
Financial Analysis: Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports.
Budgeting: Basic knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes.
