Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare individual sales action plans in line with the overall sales strategy to ensure targeted and focused approach that consistently contributes to the expansion of the business.

  • Materialize current sales opportunities and identify new ones to meet required revenue targets within defined area of responsibility.

  • Analyze market opportunities for existing services (market analysis, importing companies, volumes) and potential new services.

  • Prepare and submit periodic reports covering the activities done. (Visits, proposals submitted, and proposals accepted.)

  • Make a detailed analysis of the local market, importing companies, product volumes, big players, countries of supply, to be able to identify companies to target.

  • Translate business strategy into action plans and execute them.

  • Coordinate and attend business events such as fair, exhibitions, seminars to represent SGS.

  • Design and implement strategy enabling the growth of current business.

  • Identify potential clients, develop client relationships to drive the market position.

  • Get market intelligence information, competitors, volumes and reports regularly to the Operations Manager.

  • Designs and implements strategy for the potential development of new business opportunities.

  • Operates to the highest standards of ethics in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity.

  • Identify and share best practices with the Team.

  • Design proposals to both existing and new clients.

  • Provide feedback to Contract Manager and affiliates on clients and market demands.

  • Any other duties assigned to you from time to time by Management.

Qualification, Experiences and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related discipline.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the sales field, with a successful track record

  • Fluent in English.

  • Business and profit minded.

  • Good knowledge of International Trade (documentation, process).
