Job Description
Defining, coordinating, and monitoring all Warehouse and Stock Management activities at SUKA according to MSF protocols standards and procedures in order to ensure an optimal running of the activities
Duties and Responsibilities
Participate to the development of the stock management strategy in collaboration with SUKA Deputy Supply Coordinator Front Office and Supply Chain Coordinator
Defines and plans stock management activities and collaborate to the annual budget planning Warehouse operations
Monitor the implementation of stock management activities, follow up of medical and logistics stocks, report to the line manager on development of ongoing programs. This can include the following Ensure all equipment and premises are adapted to the proper storage of goods in compliance with local laws and regulations, the partner's requirements and MSF Good Storage and Distribution Practices (GSOP)
Ensure proper physical and administrative management of the products inside the warehouse in conjunction with the stock camer (SOPS are updated and disseminated, goods fow is optimized information systems and warehousing tools are optimized, inventories are planned and executed on time...)
Ensure the safety and the security for goods and people inside and outside the premises
Warehouse HR management
In collaboration with the HR Coordinator participate to HR associated processes recruitment, training briefing debriefing, evaluation detection of potential talent, development and communication) of the staff under his/her responsibility
Ensure that both size and the amount of knowledge required alle to correctly perform all stock management activities
Provide technical support and coaching to staff under his/her responsibility Manage the team and elaborate their activities planning (warehouse supervisor, storekeepers)
Warehousing and Stocks Knowledge management
Briefing of all key positions on SUKA warehousing and stock management including tools and information sources etc. SUKA focal point for all warehousing and stock management aspects in coordination with technical references other departments, and partners Pharmacists E-cell other MSF sections) in collaboration with the line manager coordinate the warehouse team in maintaining an accurate. UpToDate and accessible documentation for warehousing and stock management in SUKA private SharePoint Responsible to report on warehousing and stock management activities and for the quality of the data related to this areas of activity Experiences Skills and Competencies Required
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Relevant Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics. Transport and Freight Forwarding or relevant fields
Experience:
Three years of experience in warehouse management and excellent understanding of the management Procedures, proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls Experience in managing teams MSF experience is a strong asset
Skills and Competencies Required
Ability to plan and organize work effectively and deal with multiple tasks simultaneously Leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Behaviour Flexibility Teamwork and Cooperation.
Must have excellent communication people management skills and a high level of maturity and integrity
English Local languages and French is a plus.
